i know that God will not let me go
He will cause my heart to move toward the Truth
toward His holy glory


forgive me, Lord, for not believing the truth
for not holding on to You
to Your will

help me to focus on You

and, Lord, You see my heart
You know my feelings
You see my wanderings of soul
so keep me still
keep me focused on You
Lord, let me tremble before You always

and, Lord, show me what to do with my feelings
direct me in this sphere
help me to do the Father's will

how do i hold on to You with thoughts of this lovely angel in my mind
but, Lord, tell me Your wondrous truth
tell me how it is
renew my mind again and again
remind me of Your care
captivate me with Your holy splendor
make me tremble before the glory of the Lamb

Lord Jesus, fill my mind with what is true
"whatever is true...whatever is pure...whatever is lovely...whatever is worthy of praise...
dwell on those things..."
teach me full obedience
fulfill in me Your purposes
for Your glory
"perfect submission
perfect delight..."

"sanctify them with truth
Your Word is the Truth."

"let the word of Christ dwell in you richly."

i know so much, Lord, forgive me for not letting You to transform my life with Your truth... clear my mind, my thoughts, my worldview, my attitudes. cleanse me. let me abide in You. let me know You. let me drown myself in Your holy Word. fill me with Your truth. once again shake me without and within. wake me up from slumber. let me see the light of Your boundless glory. the glory of the eternal Lamb.
